Just a quicky has anyone made their own lollipops? Planning to make a set for my screaming eagles instead of baffles. Looking for any tips. thx.
I made them about 48 years ago for a Honda 305 Scrambler and wouldn't bother doing it again. Although they are quite effecive in a 1-3/4" pipe, the size of SE pipes is much larger and I feel the baffles from Big City Thunder are far more substantial and likely very much longer lasting. I put the BCT baffles in my "original" SE II's on my XL1200R and I love 'em!

+1 I have them in my SE II on my 2006 XL1200R. Give them a call. They will tell you all you need to know about exhaust dynamics. Good luck in your efforts.
Many have and I've seen some examples on this site (search to find)...just make sure you know your state/city noise laws and invest in a decent set of hearing protection.
I was going to do lollipops, even bought the eyelets to do it, then decided to go with DK Custom TTI because they've done testing & work better with FI bike. I found mine work best mounted about 1" in with cone facing inward "Do it, you'll like it!"
I've also installed the DK Customs TTIs. They are great !!! Took the high pitched bothersome tones out of the exhaust and amplified the low tones. Also, the torque is great and there is NO popping on decel. I have an 06 883 L. If ya have any questions about what size and style should fit your bike, e-mail DK Customs. Tell them how your Sporty is set up and they will suggest which set to buy. They nailed it for me !!!
