Default Crash bars or lowers for a sportster

I was looking at a set of lowers from west end motor sports. Anyone rides these on a sportster. Do they do much for wind on highway riding. Also was looking at maybe getting a crash bar with soft lowers. Any advice. Thanks.

Engine guard has been on since June, added the soft lowers Saturday.
They don't seem big enough to block much wind.
I might make some from 3/32" black plastic.
Westend sells Memphis Shades lowers, They look even less effective than H-D's.

Yea, the ones I saw aren't that big, so I don't know if they're even worth it.

I just recently added the Harley Davidson engine guard bars to my 2012 48. I'm not going for the complete "blacked out" look. I prefer some chrome on my bike and I wanted to add the highway pegs so the engine guard was a necessity. I thought about the soft lowers but don't really need them now and they fit this engine guard even with the added highway pegs (supposedly). I like the way it all looks but I do realize this look isn't for everyone. It works for me though.

I have the HD highway bars on my 07 sporty custom. I have soft lowers for airlite. It's a company that custom makes soft lowers for most any bike. They are one piece and fit great and work very well. You can check them out at airlite.ca

I use Softail Lowers mounted on my QD windshield. Lowers do make quite a difference with wind on the highway.

I actually had to remove them while on vacation this summer, it was too hot, I needed the extra wind.
