Which Soft Lowers?

Which Soft Lowers?
I have a 200-mile ride planned for next Saturday in chilly Wisconsin weather. Considering buying some soft lowers to keep toes warm.
Which ones?
The $40 ones: Protective Soft Lowers
Constructed of reinforced vinyl with polyester backing and black snaps. Install on engine guard for protection against the elements. Easy installation and removal.
OR
The $60 ones: Bar & Shield Logo Soft Lowers
Sturdy front engine guard soft lowers feature a durable quick-release latch for attachment and convenience.

RE: Which Soft Lowers?
I have the $40.00 ones on mine.
I rode with a buddy yesterday for 170 miles total at 39 degrees at average speed of 65 and they were great.
I actually use them all the time when it's below 50 degrees and leave them in my bags always.
Here in upstate NY we get the chance to ride in the cold an awefull lot....
Combined with the fork baffle,fairing wings,and a 12" shield , it's not a bad setup.
I have found that if you snap the frame and top snaps first, then the sides,it works easier when the lowers are very cold themselves.
Have a great ride.

RE: Which Soft Lowers?
Not sure if you've already ordered anything yet, but these look to be really nice.

I like that these's a little protection for the engine as well and won't interfere with air flow around the front jug.
