The $60 ones are a better quality and fit too IMO...way to go there.

They have buckles for adjustable fit that can be adjusted while the others only have snaps for one position fit. Look at the rear of the cover and it will make up your mind here.

The $60 ones: Bar & Shield Logo Soft Lowers

Not sure if you've already ordered anything yet, but these look to be really nice.

I like that these's a little protection for the engine as well and won't interfere with air flow around the front jug.
These look pretty nice. Are you using this type?

A friend of mine is running these, he's happy with them. Lots of pockets on the back side.

Not yet. I'm torn between ordering a set of these or biting the bullet and buying a set of color matched lowers from hoggchopps.com

I guess they don't make the $25 cordura(nylon) ones anymore with the screened logo. I'm glad I still have mine, they fold up real small for when you don't want 'em on. But miss the style of my old Desert Dawgs, it's all about what you really want.

I have the $40.00 variety. They suit my needs, as during bad weather, I generally am only going 20 miles or so anyway (have a 600 mile trip planned tho, so I bet THAT comment will come back to bite me).

It is a bit of a pain, that I have to move my highway pegs a bit to get the lowers to clear...but then, if the weather is bad enough to put your lowers on, are you really going to be hanging your feet out in the wind anyway?

Especially if it's only 20 miles!

I have the $60 pair. They work good but the only negative is that I have to take my highway pegs off to get them on. I realize you wouldn't care to have you legs sticking out on highway pegs in the cold, that would be self defeating. The problem I have is reinstalling the pegs to the exact Takes a while to find that sweet spot!
