Okay, check it out. Just got the SE stage 2 883 to 1200 kit installed. That particular kit is designed to work with stock 883 heads. Therefore, the stock iron heads are installed as part of that kit. Now comes the new heads. Found a guy that did the 1200 convo and will sell me his 883 pistons, cylinders, and heads for $50. Now, I want to keep all the stock parts of my iron stock. So, I was thinking the heads from the superlow might be a good candidate for some light headwork from hammer. Plus, as I'm sure most if not all of you know, the heads from the superlow are silver. I'm hoping they are wrinkle and not polished. Polished could be a deal breaker. The reason why is not only could I have some worked heads and stock 883 heads, but the wrinkle silver heads, IMHO, would look sick in between all that black on the Iron's motor. Probably would have to do something with the rocker covers as I'm not sure how the black and silver rockers on the iron would look with the silver heads. Maybe chrome rocker covers? That's a for another thread maybe. But there's my plan in a nut shell, what do ya'll think?
