Default Windshield question
I have an 2003 Sportster 883 and when I bought it, it came with what looks like the Harley stock windshield mounts. Does anyone know if aftermarket windshields like the Spartan quick release is compatible with those mounts? Or any other windshield suggestions that would use the existing mounting to save from buying new mounting hardware? Thanks.

You could try & see, but in most cases these mounts are "proprietary" to the manufacturer's hardware. After-market shields usually come w/mounts so find one you like and get it ordered.

I have both the old HD mounts (PITA) and the new HD Quick Release mounts. Get the new mounts, they come with the windshield.
