Default Refresher, digital oil temp dipstick and consumption

Minds gone blank regards using the digital level/temp dipstick on a sportster over the factory fitted. If I've done it right and level showing true, 1 bar. Then I assume I've used 3/4 of a tank in 1200 miles. Is this about right or have I a problem?

Thanks in advance

Hmmmmmmm...I don't believe the dipstick/oil level indicator goes all the way to the bottom of the tank, because that's the only way your math is going to work

To end all speculation, it would be simple enough to check your oil level with the original dipstick. Do you still have it [I hope]?

Plus, what year and model bike are we talking about?
