Maybe it's the dumbass in me, but I am having trouble getting an accurate oil reading on the dipstick. (Maybe I am the dipstick?) Anyhow, when cold, I can easily see the oil level on the dipstick. When the bike has been run and I get off and come back to check it, it seems as if the oil level is just above the "add" mark. I put in a couple of ounces more. I hope I am not burning oil. It's a new bike 09 and it has less than 2k in miles. About 5 weeks ago I had the stage one done. Any advice?
If you put too much in it will let you know real quick when it blows the dipstick out of the oil tank!
Don't be **** about the level on the dipstick. Put your bike on the jiffy stand. Take out the dipstick and look inside. Fill it to about 1/4 to 3/8 inch below where the bottom neck of the tank joins the main body of the tank. It will be fine.
