What’s the best riser for bringing the bars up and back? Is it a simple install?

Depending how much you want to bring the bars up and back, it could get rather involved: longer cables, hoses, and wires. If you just want a small amount, you can get away with re-routing the stock ones.

I put a slight riser on my bike bringing them up about an inch and back about an inch. Install was easy, put a towel on your tank for paint protection.

Sportster handlebars are 1" diameter, I believe.
