I don't get your idea, you have high bars but then lower the mirrors? I was actually thinking about it but I have drag bars and I'm looking for a lower look but w/apes just stick with the regular position and you'll get more of the ape effect won't you? You're kind of defeating your purpose?

 

The 48 comes with mirrors that are mounted lower, so this is "Regular" for them. I had drag bars on before I bought these bars and I've taken the mirrors off...hence why they're listed in the classified thread...

Also if i mounted them "regularly" the words on the mirror would be upside down.

I have the long stem mirrors and have them under the stock bars. It takes some getting used to, but the visibility is so much better once I flipped them. When they were on top I saw my elbows all the time and had to pull my arms in to see behind me. Upside down gives me a much clearer view. You just have to be careful you mount them right so they don't hit the tank.

 

ya they were fine on my bike but i ended up going with a licks cycle mirror so I dont need the stock ones no mo.
