Here is another way to create and share rides.. This allows the route to be saved as a GPX file and imported into the navigation system of the touring bikes.

Disclaimer: I have rode most of this route at various times, but not all of it and never as a single ride, that will change in the Spring.

I'll be riding your neck of the woods May 16 - 20. Some destinations:

• Visit West Point Military Academy
  Visit Orange County Choppers
• Ride NY-97 along the Hawks Nest
• Visit 1969 Woodstock Festival Grounds
• Visit some Dutch Historic sites along the Hudson river
• Visit Indian Factory Building in Richmond
• Visit F40 (Chasing Classic Cars) in Middletown

That's interesting.. The Ride I included includes some of those areas. It is easier to stop at the Hawk's nest scenic overviews going South.
I have never gotten into the West point campus, there is a guard house.. I never stopped to ask how to get it; it might be really easy. I just turned around. Nice views of the Hudson from 9N just west of West Point, it actually looks over the campus.
