speedometer problems

Default speedometer problems
Help.....I've got a 99 Heritage Softail and the speedometer recently stopped working. Digital comes up at first but when I take off, digital goes off and needle does not register. I just replaced the transmission sensor and still does not work. Have also tried different speedometer and it does the same thing.
Any suggestions.......
