I just recieved my new General G-Max AS-03 205/55ZR-16 yesterday and does it look BIG! It doesn't look like it will fit but many have, so I'm gonna give it a try. Just waiting on the Ride-On to get here now. Anything I should be aware of before I mount this tire? Thanks in advance.
Well, I put the tire on today. Couldn't get anyone to put it on for me, so I did it myself. I bought a motorcycle tire mounting kit from Harbor Freight to go on my tire mounter, but it would not bite on to the rim. It's just not gonna work on those mag type wheels. So, I got the pry bars out and mounted it like I used to bicycle tires when I was a kid. The Dunlop came off pretty easy and the General went on pretty easy. I used some skin softening soap my wife uses in the shower to lube it up. As many times as I've nearly busted my a$$ getting in the shower after my wife got out, I knew it would be slippery. I put in 16 ozs. of RideOn. Rode it to work this afternoon, 35 miles, no problems. Took the speedo up to 80 for about 20 miles, no problems. I'll put the Garmin on it tomorrow to see how far my speedo is off. I'm running 38 lbs of pressure. I'll report back after a few days of riding.
I have had my 205/55-16 on the bike for 10,000 miles now & I tried a new 2014 Ultra Limited & the new bike was nice but my 2011 Limited handled much better then the new bike. I love the C/tire on my bike & if I did get a new one it would be the first mod made.

I rode 2 miles at 95 MPH. No wobbles, wiggles or problems. Took a curve a little hot, forgot I had a car tire on, no problems there either. Looks like its a keeper.
