I am just going off of my dealer service department. Non HD slip-on's are ok...as long as the head pipes aren't changed...and the Pro Street Tuner is used.

I had a 18 m8 Road King I just traded it in on a Street Glide Special w/114 M8. Can I use the Street Tuner from my old bike on the new 19 m8? I want a Heavy Breather and new mufflers.

Yes, You can use the Street Tuner on new 19 M8 but you have to renew that tuner before.

Technically, no. Once you used the tuner module on your Road King, it became "married" to the bike's ECM, and it will not work on any other bike with a different ECM.

You could find "semi-shady" individuals on eBay who live in other countries who would clear out the codes from a Pro Super Tuner for around $150 or so, but I have not yet heard of anyone doing that for the Pro Street Tuner.

Keep in mind, the Street tuner module is only $250, so if you pay $150-ish to have yours cleared out, you're risking that it won't work just to save $100.

The number they are looking for is your bikes VIN number...OR all 1’s. ;-)

Assuming it’s out of warranty, you would be better served by a full feature tuner like the TTS Mastertune or P/V.
If you intend to have it properly tuned use whatever your chosen tuner feels best and comfortable with rather than forcing him to use something you bought based on ads, propaganda, or other forum members.
