Love my modular. I rarely ride with the front up, and when I do it's at low speeds, but nice to have the options, plus its really easy to take on and off. I wouldn't wear anything but modular/FF or nothing. Really don't want to save my brain yet have a messed up face the rest of my life. And I wear my modular year round.

 

I just bought a modular First one. HJC IS MAX2. Coming from a 3/4. Going to give it a ride this weekend.

 

 

I usually wear a full face if im going more than a few miles or so. too many blue hairs here.

 

Whats the verdict

 

There's going to be a "get used to it "curve. I first tried a full face but found it was too hot esp. sitting at lights which was my main reason for trying the modular. I'm hoping I'll be able to keep it open while in traffic and light to light. We'll see.
I normally take a 2xl but it was too tight so they are sending me a 3xl at no charge. I thought maybe it would break in some but I couldn't take the tightness anymore.
The little bit I tried the 2xl last weekend wasn't bad except for the fit. I'll have to do a longer ride.
