Get ready Hillsborough county riders especially in the area of the Harley dealership because it must be justify grant money time again. I got stopped two days ago for "Non Stock Exhausts." Not loud pipes mind you, just non stock pipes. When he asked if I knew why he stopped me I couldn't resist saying, 'probably my fishtail mufflers because you stopped me for the same thing around this time last year.' In fact he pulled me over twice in a span of three weeks on the road behind the dealership when I was leaving. This time he got me on Hwy 60 on my way to the dealership. I mean come on, WTF? I guess the fishtails just stick out like a ***** in a pickle jar!
No more weekend stops at Harley for me!
Stopping a law abiding biker for an exhaust appears to be a much higher priority for some police departments than catching drug dealers, murderers, thieves, drunk drivers, speeders, or illegal aliens.

Lastly, not gonna jinx myself about loud pipes "I know nothing officer, they came from HD MOCO like that" You said you got "stopped" but did they ticket you? hoping a warning with that Police Interceptor insignia, that's gotta count for some grace by the coppers.
I have fish tails RK 07 w a Cam, I don’t rev at stop signs nor traffic lights though. 😎 I’m cool man, RK is natures coast of Florida at times at Crystal River other times Spring Hill.

No tickets, just verbal warnings for "educational purposes." He even gave me a handout of F.S. 316. Motor Vehicle laws. Must have been an old one because it didn't mention anything about non stock exhaust being illegal. Then it downed on me that May is "Motorcycle Safety Month" in Florida and they have to show activity to qualify for program grant monies.
