We'll be comming down riding the east coast I would like to ride A1A as far as I can. Is there any sites or places I need to check out?
This is going to be the longest strech of time I've been off in my adult life except for when I had a nasty crash in 98 which was no vacation.

 

Well A1A starts Just above jacksonville in Fernadina The ride across the St Johns on the ferry is fun then to Daytona is real nice along the ocean. Things to see marineland at Mantanza's Inlet Just below St Augustine St Augustine Lighthouse Ponce Inlet also. That is the first 150 miles I'll let other suggest below that

 

Yeah that stretch is really nice, you go through saw grass, some really beautiful homes and incredible beaches. Down near Flagler is a little restaurant called Finns. They have a nice view of the ocean and a good fish sandwich. Can't miss it, it's the only stop light in Flagler and it's a two story building with the Blues Brothers statues upstairs. Once you get a little past Daytona Beach you have to get off A1A because it doesn't go through. Your maps should show you that, you can get back on it near Cocoa beach. That's as far as I can get you, haven't been any farther down than that yet. Have a great time.
