My stock slip ons on my Limited did the same thing, and the Rush slip ons I have now are are starting to do it, but not as bad (yet), I sold the Rinehart 3.5 slip ons before they did that so I could recover my funds. However it's only happening on the right side muffler not both.

The dealer doesn't know why, and looked at me like I'm nuts......

It's b/c of the Cat, no doubt. It doesnt happen on 09's. You'll also notice it happening on the right muffler first, that's b/c its closer. I' wont put a set of slip-ons on until this damn cat is gone.

Yeah basically the Rush slip ons I have are going to get ruined. But they were free at least so I am not wasting my money, I would swap them back but my stock slip ons are on the bike the Rush pipes came off of.

The pro pipe is less expensive but also does not sound the same. Has a "sportier" sound if you will.

Peanut butter sandwiches for the rest of the year:

Been on the phone and internet for 3 hours (plus yesterday) trying to get these things. D&D LIST price is 1024.00. But they are 2 weeks out on new orders. (I want my mods done prior to Maggie Valley).

No one I called had them in stock, but said they all order directly from D&D 2 - 3 weeks turn around time. I called Kustom Emporium same story. But the guy was good enough to suggest Zippers. I called them and they had them in stock. But Zippers would not budge on the list price. I also order the Hiflow AC from Zippers. He gave me a 20% discount of that.

Ordered the TTS Mastertune from Dennis Kirk.

TTS = 449.91
Zippers Hiflow = 131.71
Fatcat complete = 1050.00 (caskets flanges added)

Would have prefered waiting, but this all represents HALF of what I saved over the "Best" deal Sunrise Harley offered me.

Almost time for lunch... peanut butter, yummmm!

Gabe, Kustom Emporium told me they would do them for 869.00 DELIVERED that's 200.00 bucks cheaper. It will take a couple of weeks. Wish I was not in a rush.

Thanks for the info, who is going to tune your TTS?

Also when you say "them" referring to the D&D, do you mean with a ghost pipe? If I go D&D I don't want the ghost pipe, I just can't see paying money for metal that doesn't do anything lol.

Want to see what it sounds like when you get it all done...

Jerry is helping me with everything. Doing a DL into the tuner. Them is D&D, I did not get the ghost pipe. Personally, I would prefer it, but I am done spending money. I hate peanut butter (or at least I will. ) I am **** about things being in balance.

I like the look of the ghost pipe on Bert's bike. Looks totally legit!

Using Gabes example that's like dating twins and one is a hooker, one is legit, the other isn't. But they still look alike. !!!

I dont even know if that makes sense, but I thought it was funny.
