Doo rags under helmet?

It's always so great to hear from u Juno. I'm guessing things are either very slow at the shop today or you've had more than your morning quota of cofee, or both.

I wear a hat turned around backwards. This serves two purposes.
1. Keeps the sweat off my helmet.
2. Keeps my neck from burning on those long rides in the sun.

I don't wear a helmet unless I have to, but I wear these helmet liners with or without a helmet, like someone else said, keeps all those stray hairs out of the ponytail from flyin' around.

I have a tendency to have what's called helmet itch and really bad. the only thing that works is a do rag made of 100% cotton. I know crazy but my itches so much I can't ride or it'll drive me nuts. zandana brand I found works the best.

I started wearing one under the helmet last summer on account of:
1. Sweat stays in the rag and not as much gets to the helmet liner.
2. So I don't get a sunburned head during the day when stopping to gawk at something with helmet removed. (Alas, in my 50's and am "folically challenged".)
