When I got mine i said I'd use it 10% of the time, now it's on 90% of the time. It's just to easy to put things in to it to take it off. The 10% it's not on I miss it. You won't regret having one.

Get the 2014+ Tour Pak. It's bigger and looks better.

My bike has solo seating. I've a quick release mid size tp I use for trips. Not on often, but very useful when it is. If I typically rode 2up I'd have one for sure. I'd still go quick release, especially on a RK.

If you decide to do it I have the quick detach 2 up mounting rack you need. I will make you a great deal on it if you're interested.

It's not cheap. I did it to the my RK. I spent the extra coin and made it quick detach. It's never been off the bike since I installed it. Just way too handy to have it. Now if my garage was cleaner and I had a place to set it and if I had time for a leisurely Sunday ride..... well then I might have it off so I could enjoy the SG look!

I said the same thing. But for me it is only on about 10% of the time. I think the bike looks butt heavy with it on. But it sure is handy. I use it for touring or when the wifey wants to ride. She will not settle for the standard backrest. Got to have the arm chair!

Get a color matched chopped one.
They look the best IMO. Stream-lined and cleaner lines.

King TP's have that fugly wrap around arm rest that just sticks out w/out the speaker pods and looks doofy.
