Default engine guard ideas

I want to change my engine guard to something different. Since I have the yaffe handlebars I was thinking of getting the engine guard from yaffe to match. However that's costly. Any recommendations of something that style or something that would look good with the handlebars I got, at a reasonable price? And I still can use my highway pegs. Pics would be helpful.

Are those pads on the top for resting your feet? If so, is it comfortable. Can I mount highway pegs to get another foot resting position? I like the look

Yes, you can get pegs to rest your feet.

Thought about this also, but the bike went down before.. If that guard wasnt on there would have been damage to the bags and tank. So Im keeping a guard on just in case.

Thats true about the cheap stuff, but I wanted to see other guards before I decide to order the yaffe one.
