Strobe effect from sun.......
I have definitely experienced this riding and driving. My only suggestion is to try what I was told to do with bright oncoming headlights and direct focus to the white line on the road and see if that helps.
In Arizona the sun is penetrating! I used a spare clear flip down face shield and cut the lower two thirds of it off. I then sprayed window tint (plastic tint) on the inside. This allows me to adjust the height of the shield to cancel out the suns glaring or the strobe affect while driving along trees. May not look like the coolest visor but it snaps on and off and does the job and driving into the sun is not the pain in the a$$ it used to be. Also useful in wet weather. With the spray application you can go from a light tint at the bottom to a darker tint at the top of the shield.
I experienced that riding the Iron Mountain Road in the Black Hills, early in the morning, as the sun flashed through the trees. I actually got woozy, and couldn't wait to stop at the next tourist trap and wait for the sun to rise a little higher.
