Default Michelin Commander Tires

I was about to buy Dunlop American Elite Tires
then I heard about the new Michelin Commander.
Anybody using them & how do they rate?

Commander II's have been out for a few years now. I had them on my previous VStar 1300 Tourer and they were great but you need to keep the air pressure at least at 41/41 or else they get squirrely. I think they're comparable but I prefer the Dunlop American Elites' handling and I like the narrow white wall.

Here is a link of Dunlop comparing themselves to Michelin.

I have owned the Michelin Commander on both 18 and 21 inch sizes and have been very happy with them.....my friend has 6,000 on his front and still looks new.

I love the Michelin Commanders, the handling and the ride is so much better than my stock dunlops, I think you will be very happy!

I have them, and have 15,000 miles on a rear with 5/32" left. They handle much better than the factory Dunlops that the bike with.

Replaced my tires with the MC II's a few months ago and am very happy with them. The overall feel/handling of them is a noticeable improvement.

After 17,310 miles on the original Dunlops I just had a set of Commander II's installed... Any new tire was going to feel like an improvement... So far I've only put about 400 miles on them, but I like them so far.

I'm almost to 19 k miles on my Rear MC 2. I know it's not the same bike as yours but it is a point of reference. I believe I will get there claimed 25k out of it. My riding buddies have switched over to them as well. They ride baggers. One has a CVO Electra glide. He was only getting around 5k miles out of a HD Dunlop rear. He switched & is in heaven.
