Heated grips not heating well.

My heated grips are only getting about half as hot as they were when first installed. I replaced a set after four years of use due to the rubber getting sticky. The new ones were just as hot as the old when first replaced but after about 9 months they are just warm on the highest setting. These are Harley grips, anything I can test or check before changing out?

Ditch the heated grips and get heated bars!

I've had good luck with the heated grips, so I'll be replacing or repairing the grips. I'm looking for possible repair suggestions, but thanks anyway.

I'm pretty sure the HD heated grips have a 1 year warranty. Check with your dealer, and if you don't still have your receipt, they might even have a record of when you bought them
