Default CD plasma rods length?

Like a lot of you I am looking to put some plasma rods on my bike. I see they come in 8 to 14 inch.

Just would like to know what length most are installing on their street glides?

And did anyone buy one length only to find out they wish they would have went with a different length?

Or is it just personal preference?

Or is there only one size for the glides? This would be for a 2014 Glide.

Thanks in advanced.

From the Custom Dynamics web site ( http://www.customdynamics.com/plasma_rod_led_lights.htm)

Use 8" for standard bags and 10", 12" or 14" for extended bags.

14 here its just my opinion but I think 8 inch looks silly on a bike, it looks like you couldn't afford the longer ones when using them
