Default mustang ?

The lovely wife got me a solo mustang seat for Christmas. My question is why is this thing so hard to bolt down. I am putting it on a 2006 ultra and the two tabs at the back of the seat are about 3/8 of an inch from the top of the bolts it takes two people to bolt seat down. Should i be bending the tongue at the front of the seat down to make fit better?

My experience with Mustang (3 different seats) is they are a tight fit that can require a little muscling into place - some more than others Once on, awesome seats. Make sure the front tab isn't binding on anything and any wiring under the seat is tucked away safely

On seats that have a tongue that goes into the frame you can bend the tongue to make a tighter or looser fit

What your describing is normal for the Mustang seats. They will loosen up over time. Smack it down hard with your forearm as you push forward to engage the tongue. Great seats!

This is what I have had to do with the Mustang seats I have had.
