Howdy from Denver - Plz help with FLHX audio!
Hi all, as a new member in Denver, I have used this site to help with many projects - Thanks to all who contribute and answer posts, love ya!
If anyone can help answer an audio question, or give advice/experience, I'd appreciate it. I have a 2014 Street Glide and want to upgrade the crummy stock sound system. Right now I am torn between the Paul Yaffe Rockford Fosgate fairing speakers/amp and the HD Boom Audio Stage 2 setup.
I don't have the monies to do my speaker lids quite yet (hurry up tax refund!), but may consider it in the future.
Can anyone give a gal some good advice please? Much thanks!

Have you thought about the Harley "Boom" audio stuff that is in the new special models? I am looking at trading in my 13 for a new 15 and have not researched it much but the bottom feeders on the sales floor keep telling me the audio is way upgraded from mine. Some of the dealers in town are running service specials this time of year too.Welcome to the forum from the foothills west of Denver.

Give a look at the "Audio Systems" section! Lots of helpful stuff there. You need to add Biketronics to your consideration list.

Do yourself a favor. Get a 4 channel amp even if you're only doing fairing speakers. That way, later down the road, you'll be ready to add lids without changing the amp. And before you decide on one brand or another do your homework. There are much better options than Boom components (sometimes called KaBoom). As already mentioned, check out the audio section.
