any one know where i can get a cheap tire american mototire .com is out of dunlop d 402 mu85b tires looked on ebay and cant find one and i refuse to pay the dealer 185 dollars when i can get it for a 101 dollars
not to be a smart ***, but apparently you can't get it for 101. sometimes you just gotta pony up and pay the man. if you need a tire, isn't your safety worth the 80 bucks?
or you could just go with a different brand. metzelers and avons seem to be the tire of choice.
In case you didn't know, Goodyear went on strike last year and before that there seemed to have beena severe work slow-down. They have been backordered for over a year for some styles and sizes and they keep changing when they will start shipping out new tires, this is why none of the on-line warehouses have any. I'll bet that dealer doesn't have them either but he'll take your money and hold it until his supply warehouse gets their shipment in a month or two. If that dealer has one on the shelf, grab it
Well thats a good question about holding off for a discounted tire.
Not sure if you will find a deal like that right away.
You may have to pay the extra bucks and get that bike back
on the road... Good luck

Bonez, the first shipments werearriving last month. HD is now buying French-made Dunlop 402s to maintain supply and has added a secondother tire manufacturer. Be patient, some of the discount web dealers are receiving tires again.I use this guy: http://www.harleypartscheap.com/
