I bought shocks from Howard ,and put them on last night, it warmed up to 60* today, so I left work at around noon, and took a ride. It made me realize just how crappy the stock things they call shocks are!
I used to feel a pretty good bump at overpass seams , and I could feel pretty much any little crack in the road, and the rear tire didn't feel very planted at the same time. Now I feel no cracks in the road, and the seams at overpasses are almost nothing, and that rear tire is planted like you glued it to the road.
What? Are you serious? No complaints about Howard? How dare you just post a positive about anything Howard has done...just playing.
Sorry couldn't help myself.
Glad there working out for you. I'm seriously leaning to get a set just gotta pull the trigger more then anything else. But spent way to much when I purchased the bike in upgrades to justify to the OL about more upgrades just yet. Got a few in but a big expense like that won't fly just yet. But it's early this season .

My departed RG had Ohlins 3-3's on the back and Progressive monotubes in front. I told people that to say it rode like a Cadillac would be a huge compliment to the Caddy. The '14 has the H-D Premium cartridge in front and Ohlins 3'1's on the way.
