Decided on the KST Mayhem Bars.. 14" or 16"
Hey Guys,
I've read through what seems to be hundreds of "bar threads". I like the look of the Yaffe Monkey Bars but after seeing how proud they are of them and getting less than decent service at their tent at AZ Bike week I decided on KST as i've read nothing but good things.
Anyhow, I'm 6' but have a shorter inseam, like 31". I'm torn as 14" seems the most popular size but from what I read everyone wishes they went 2" taller. I'm traveling right now so I don't have the luxury of measuring/building things from PVC to get an idea. It seems like something most people would error on the side taller bars vs shorter ones?
Also, does anyone make black braided clutch cables? I'd like this along with black brake lines and fittings. I was looking to order everything through EP but I didn't see they carry the Satin black bars.
Thanks,
Casey

I should have noted these are for my 2011 SG.
I noticed you're in New Caney. I'm working in Conroe this week. Do you think we could meet up so I can see if the 14s would work? That is assuming you don't mind me sitting on your bike.
Thanks,
PS. I like the look of the 14 the best in terms of where they land against the fairing but definitely lean towards function/comfort for this exercise.
Thanks for the replies everyone.
