Default baker compansator

Has any one used a baker compansator kit for 2007+ big twins? I'm on my third Harley compansator now it has 1000 miles on it and acting up again. Taking it to the dealership to be replaced under warranty again. I think I'm going to see if they will let me pay the difference for a baker.

Baker comps start shipping next week, if you call them you can pre-order one.

Is your current comp the SE version? I've had mine for going on 3 years now & no issues.

Had one for about a month. Much better than the SE unit. I would suggest ordering one. Call Baker and be sure to ask for a forum member discount!

1000 miles isnt very long?
@5 yrs and 30k miles on the se comp, i see gauges in it and making a constant clapping sound between 2.5 and 2.7 rpm's, like its getting ready to spin off.plus generally louder all around.

+1 on the list with baker.

The last time they changed it they said we will put the se version in it and you will have no more problems. Typical Harley junk. By the time im done the motor and drive train will be 100% aftermarket.

Waiting on my Baker along with the attitude adjuster. I'm on my second comp at 35k miles and it started making noise on startup at 3000 miles.

We'll see how this Baker functions once it gets here and I get it put on.

We are making one final change to the sprocket then they will start shipping. We are putting "scoops" in the sprocket for guys that have to run below normal amounts of oil in their primary. It's pretty cool. I'll post up pics when it's done.
