If this is Drew, so the Compusaver didn't work for you?
Well it didn't not work but I have gotten a few clunks out of the comp still. We'll see how it looks when I pull it out. I am sure it is showing less wear than it would without the Compensaver but I like to try all of these new fangled inventions and then decide which works best.
Thus far with the 2014 Comp and the Compensaver I have had a total two clunks both on startup one around 3000 miles the other around 4000 miles. I have about 5500 on this setup so far.
I am sure the Compensaver is reducing wear by a drastic amount as the comp is completely bather in oil however nothing can fix the moco's design on this without completely replacing it in my opinion.
I start my bike numerous times a day (probably about 10) and I attribute much of this wear to how many times I start the bike.
My hat is off to any vendor that has spent the time and money involved to remedy the compensator problem.

Cool. Yeah I bet it's way better then without.
Anyway, yeah I can't wait to hear some feedback on the Baker unit.
Funny... I always thought the SE design could use some scoops to basically do what Baker is doing to theirs now (above).
I just put a brand new SE compensator in my bike. I was disgusted in how rough it looks. Absolutely no machining done to the contact/wear surfaces. They basically just pop it out of the mold and ship it out.

I got decent life out of my stock comp in my 13 which was 30K before it was driving me so mad that I had to replace it but this is the new "upgraded" for 2013 version. So I got the 2014 version with the scoop and the compensaver this time. I figure with the amount of miles I ride I give these thing a pretty good test.
Like I said above, I start my bike 8-10 times a day with all the stops on the way to and from work daily and I tend to think the starting the bike is what causes the real wear. Sure you can hear it making noise while riding as well but the loud clunk on startup seems the killer to me.
If you only start your bike once a week or so your wear will probably be much less than mine.
On the flip side I just bought an FXR with a 124 Evo in it and the stock comp that come on those bikes which is the same style as the Baker design and it has not made a peep yet. The bike only has 7500 miles on it so far but we will see what happens with that. The 124 is pushing 130 HP. I have been riding this daily since I got it. I do really miss my saddlebags, tour pack and fairing but that is a fun little bike that is perfect for lane splitting too.
Sorry to thread hijack, but I have my inner primary off right now to change shift lever and seal.
Here is my stock, 40000 mile (I've had bike since 12000 miles) so assuming original compensator. 2009 103 6speed police-glide.
