Anybody use the CoolStream Bluetooth receiver with their iPod interface.

Can you still use the controls on the handlebars to scroll through the songs?

I bought the receiver and I can stream the music, but can’t use the controls in the handlebars to scroll through the songs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

It will only stream the music - the controls will not work.

If you need to have the controls works get the ipod interface

This is what I have on mine and it works real good, http://www.ebay.com/itm/171761490707 though you can't operate it using the handlebar controls, you can scroll through the songs using the buttons on the unit itself. I ran all the wiring inside the fairing so there's no wires hanging all over, I then mounted it to the dash using velcro so I can remove it if needed (its not water proof). It just plugs into the aux port on my factory stereo.

 

I got the Harley ipod interface
