Brand new 2015 Limited, and was checking it out today. Look at left shock, does it appear the black thinge is not pushed in far enough, or is the black thinge being forced out? It had 15lbs of air installed. Should it be inserted all the way in?????

If it is holding air and you see no oil deposits around the area, you are good to go.
You can try pushing the lines in some but, it should be OK.

Mine looks the same. I too thought it looked kinda weird, decided to dick with it until it hissed at me, then I put it back and left it alone...

35 pounds and holding.

Its just a connector, let the air out, unhook it and push it back in.

The fittings you are referring to are called John Guest fittings. If you push on the ring surrounding the air tube and pull the tube at the same , the tube will release. To replace you reinsert the tube. There is an expanding piece on the inside with an o-ring. Most of the time the only problems will be with the o-ring cracking with time. The fittings are used with small air systems. JR

Sorry, but you (OP) sound like the OL when describing parts as "thingies." I guess it you don't know the technical term, you don't know. Now you know - ride-on!
