I've owned several different backrests. For the money the manual one is fine. The adjustable one with the hard mounted lever is nice but the mounting flange over time falls apart. For me with all of the backrests they don't lean far enough back. I have to heat them up and bend them for some added room.

I don't have one yet but the Mustang one is supposedly far more adjustable than the HD one, fits the stock seat and cost's $259.00.

I have the adjustable one on my ultra. I like changing posistions while on a long ride. That's why it's adjustable. I don't just set it and forget.

I had both Harley backrests and did not like either one. They both pushed me ahead too far. My suggestion is going with a Mustang seat with their back rest. I am sure happy with this set up.

I just got the Harley adjustable one on Ebay - brand new for just a bit over 200. Pretty good deal I thought. Great addition to my ultra - would highly reccommend it.
