I currently have a Superchips Vigilante EZ for the Can Bus models. It doesn't have a specific map for VH Pro Pipe so I've been using the one for Freedom Performance 2 into 1 and SE breather. I got the Superchips for free so I used it. The bike runs good but there are times when it's hot and I'm matching speed and downshifting that the bike doesn't have a clean blip when the throttle is cracked. That has been driving me crazy so I'm going with the FP3 to get a better can tune and also further it with AutoTune.
Curious to see how you like it BigMike. I have a FP3 on the way from Fuel Moto myself (come on FedEx, I know you have it on your truck....deliver it already!).
It's being delivered today. I'll return the bike to stock which will release the Superchips and download the right map with the FP3. Planning to ride the bike to work tomorrow so that should be a good test run.
I just put one on my '14 Softail which is CanBus same as yours. I have Freedom Performance Upsweeps. I put the map in for V&H Big Shot Long pipes and it runs GREAT. Don't thnk I'll even bother with the Autotune feature.
$299 and free shipping from Eastern Performance Cycles in Md.
13 Heritage with the Vance and Hines Straight shots slip-on's, Arlen Ness Big Sucker stage II air cleaner, fuelpak3.
Absolutely love how easy it was. Bike is running well.
This has got to be one of the best fuel items ever made for ease of use. The old fuelpaks worked ok but I usually ended up replacing them with some type of flash tuner anyway. I found piggyback units don't work well at all with TBW bikes. The softail isn't TBW and was a piece of cake to hook up with the FP3 and map
The bike runs much better with ZERO pops on decel and no farting stumbles during speed matching downshifts. I can really feel the torque of the 103 and it accelerates hard.
Very happy with the tuner. Can't wait to play with the Auto Tune.
The only 'bad' thing I noticed was that it had trouble recognizing the key fob. I changed the battery and still have to waive it around the bike. Going to call VH today.
