Saddle bag lid fell off going down road
Lost my saddle bag on left side today
Buddy of mine picked it up scratched pretty bad hardware and lid will have to be replaced
Bottom can be repainted
Found bag and lid on eBay just wrong side same color
Sounds like it time for some speaker lids

Sorry to hear that man. Bolt them bastards on with a fender nut... or spring nut... or whatever people are calling them these days. Got mine at Lowes.

Was it just the lid, or entire bag (and lid was damaged)?? Either way = sucks.

Heard from my service writer they have had to warranty quite a few of the bags falling off due to a defective assembly (my guess it is the receptacle that the pin goes into) it was the piece that the mechanic was holding.
