I whet to talk to a guy today about hydro Dipping some bags and fender, he had left early Friday.
It seems to be common but I don't know much about it. Has anyone hydro dipped bags, fenders or anything? How does it standup to weather, they dip guns so it must be tuff stuff?
I had my center console done this spring. It has held up very well. The hydrodip is clear coated just like any "paint" is so it is very durable. Been very happy and starting to figure out some more parts to get dipped.
I was going to have my 07 roadglide in er fairing done in carbon fiber. They do need to be clearcoated for longevity and durability. Sold the bike and never had it done. It is an amazing finish and its unique 👍
I talked to a local Professional bike painter, excliant work he has painted some beautiful bikes. He quoted $1500 for the stretch bags and fender, high I think but it would be a guaranteed job. I Added a pic of a bike he recently painted, complete $5600.
I have not talked to the local hydro dip yet, just weighting options.
Thanks for the info guys, the more info the better.
Sorry, it's a bad pic but a beautiful bike, guess my phone was foggy.
