DTT Installed - Huge Difference !!!
Hey Neck,
Im running a stock 88 at this time! I replaced my PCIII and i'm telling you its the best thing I have done so far. This baby is so much more responcesive. On the hill country ride one of the guys asked me what i have done to the engine. As i laughed I said nothing yet! This thing moves for being stock. Don't get me wrong it is nothing like a build but it is soooo much better then the PCIII. Im not putting down the PCIII it is a good system for what it is but this DTT rocks. If i couldn't afford this I would still run the PCIII.
Striaght out of the box before any tuning I could tell the difference and it just gets better. I still have more tuning and smoothing to go.........
Then I'll dyno to do a comparison against my PCIII and then WHAM!!!!! do a build.....

Even though the website says what it does, Daytona does provide set-up files for the stockers.
I never got a chance to dyno my bike prior to installing the DTT, but the fun meter went way up on the first ride, and it just keeps getting better. This sytem will without a doubt improve performance over a PCIII or other similar system in that it learns, and constantly self adjusts to different variables, pressure, humidity, altitude, etc.

OK, so you now have my attention. I am on their site, and can not figure out which product you are all talking about. Can someone please shed some light on that for me?
Thanks,
Capt

Update - My LSR Blackholes arrived today. I removed the Rineharts and packed them up, they are sold. Doublechecked clearances prior to starting the install of the Blackholes due to the clearance problem with the longer O2 sensor I had with the Rineharts. Front pipe just fine, rear pipe, the sensor will hit the top of the tranny. I must carefully grind the weld off the bung on the rear pipe, and weld an "angle" bung back on, Gonna find someone around here that is real good with a Tig as that will input the least overall heat and not damage too much chrome. Heat shiels should cover any problem areas. I wll keep posting updates. Also going to contact Bob at RBR and let him know he needs to think about going to the angled bungs to prevent future problems (read: complaints).
The DTT is amazing. I went from Rineharts to RB Racing Blackholes, two into one and finshed the install a few hours ago.
I hooked up the laptop, put it in real time mode and fired up the bike. Way rich on the front cylinder, pretty good on the rear. I could watch as the DTT was making adjustments to the A/F on the front cyl and got it pretty close to spot on once it went itno closed loop mode, all while just idling in the garage. . I readjusted the IAC (was 38) down to 30, and the TPS was perfect at .4, and uploaded a few changed to the A/F in the 2500 rpm 15% throttle range (slight ping with a gradual roll on) and will have to wait till tomorrow to take out on a few tuning runs for it to adjust to the new pipes. It seems that every time I do a mod, just as I finish it starts to rain.
This mod alone would have required retuning, going from true duals to a two into one, and the DTT is already proving its worth.
