my 2011 flhx with heavy breather, fuel moto headpipe cfr mufflers, 255 cams. 85 degree day pv shows eng temp running between 260 to 285. Does this sound rite. also it" a 103 with harley oil cooler.

That's probably about right, with the Wards fans I run about 230 or so.
