Mine are molded around the inner vent opening. Cut it out about 1/4 inch outside the shape. Had to snip a couple places for screw brackets, etc, but that can’t be seen with the fairing on. Can see them if you look close.

I like a "racey look" so I added these decals onto the fairing. Kind of a CVO imposter. I just liked the look.
