Default Saddlebag question

I have an 06 RKC and bags from an RK Standard. Not long ago, the right side lid became very loose and eventually the latch fell off. I bought a pack of the small torx screws, but it seems like I lost a part somewhere.

Does anyone have a how-to, pics or a schematic? I threw the leather bags back on for now, but I'm not liking it much.

Any help would be appreciated.

Finally got around to this. I was missing the plate which the torx screws secure the latch to the bag to. The entire assembly was loose and rusty inside as well.

Total for parts was about $12 and it took me about 20 minutes to break it all down, adjust everything, lube/clean and reassemble.

It probably seals better than new now.

I'd suggest anyone with bags of this age to give your lids and latches a once-over to prevent this.... And I didn't realize how much more I prefer the hard bags over the leather bags until I was forced to swap them back for a few weeks
