Default Road Glide GoPro mount ideas

Looking for how to mount the GoPro on the new Road Glide CVO.
Not doing the helmet thing.
How good are the sticky things and what's the chance of damaging the paint?

I have Ram Mount stuff, that would be my preference.

Any thoughts?

My GoPro is mounted on my left hand side of the engine guard. No vibrations, but the sound sucks.

The helmet is the best spot.

You can try all the locations you want and spend $ on different mounts, but I think you're going to find out that the best videos come from a helmet mount.

Hog tag collar, helmet mount, and engine gaurd. Bits and peices choped up from each and spliced together make for a good video.

Hog tag collar probaly the best stable video, the helmet can be good if you dont move your head to much, using a ram tough claw on the engine guard is not bad, more vibrations when stoped.

Second this, have a Monoprice knock off with the GoPro adapter on one of these. Works wonderful and a LOT less vibration than mounting it to the engine guard.

I use one of these on my left handlebar.

Here is an example:

I use the Seat post mount and attach it to my mirror, gives you the ability to touch the GoPro to turn it on and off. It gives just a bit of windshield to show lean angles.

My friend uses suction cup mount on his outer fairing below the windshield. He tethered it the first few times and now doesn't bother. It stays put, and he has to "pry" the suction cup off when he's done riding.

I can attest to the GoPro suction cup mount. I've used it on the fairing and this past weekend I suctioned it to the top of the front fender. It's not going anywhere. GoPro rates it at like 150-170mph.
The helmet is the best place as far as sound goes. On the helmet you have to look at the windshield and the dash.
From the fender it sound like you are racing down the road. Again it can be turned down.
