Default TopShop Minister fender fit over 200mm rear?

Hey gents, I'm new to the forum out of Maryland. I picked up a 2014 streetlast year andI love it!

I'm looking at putting a top shops Minister Fender and Viper bags on my ride. I have a 17 x6.25 with a 200mm rear and was trying to confirm if this fender will fit my rear tire without any rub.

Searched the forums but didn't find an answer. Eastern Performance says yes it fits. The FactoryMatch.com said it may rub, and the lady (nice lady) I talked to at TopShop wasn't too clear. I Was hoping someone hear has the setup and can clear this up for me.

I've attached a couple pic of the scoot.

Thanks

If you are currently running a 200 rear tire and you don't have rub - then I would suspect that putting on a Top Shop rear fender will not make any difference as it has the same shape/size as the stock around the rear wheel - the only difference is the tail of the fender which is more flared out than stock....
HogPro a sponsor here might be able to assist?

What I was told is that the fender is thinker than the metal fender so that's where issues may arise.

Btw nice ride.

sac ... welcome to the forums!

First of all, I'm assuming the wheel/tire is not yet on your bike.

I asked the same question a couple months back for my '15 SGS.
The answer I got was that "too many of the 2014+ Street Glides trying to use a 200mm tire on the rear experienced rubbing". The suggestion for me was to go to an 18" rim and stay with 180mm tire.
I never made the swap; I'm still flip-flopping the whole idea of 21" front and 18" rear idea.

I truly don't know if you would experience rubbing ...
You should talk to Drew over at www.hogpro.com. I think he is in a better position to truly answer your question.

Did I say ... welcome to the forums!

Ok I got confirmation. It fits.
I went by eastern today. they have the same setup on a 15 road glide they built and are selling. I even got down on the floor and looked underneath to confirm that it was a 200 and see how it looked underneath.
I also talked to mike the installation manager who confirmed that they install this setup over a 200 all the time and they will tug the rear fender support a little to make sure it doesn't rub. He said they do this on stock fenders when installing a 200 tire.

I have been running the 21/17 with 200 tire and stock fender for a season and it rides flawlessly. I ride pretty aggressive having come off s Suzuki hayabusa (still own) and I can say the setup feels better than stock. So I say UnaHarlista go for it! I would not do an 18 rear with 200 though because you will rub.

So now time to get my new rear!

Cheers!
