Default Can this work??

I am a new guy here, and don't want to waste a lot of your time, but I need some help.
I have a 2003 Ultra classic (see signature) and I have finally located the air cleaner that will finish off that side of the bike. Harley says no it wont work, but with some small mods I don't see why not.
My motor began as an 88 efi, but many changes since. The issue is its a custom 51mm throttle body. Also lower fairings.

The SE catalogue says that version is for '10 and later Dyna and Softail models, there isn't one for your early Touring bike. It'll be intersting to see what others say, but you may find you have to buy it and try it. Sometimes one of us has to be first to plough a lone furrow!

What you will find is the bolt pattern on the carb is different. I tried to give a buddy my screaming eagle stage 1 off my 2007 SG for his 2008 SG no go things changed when HD went to the TBW. Now not saying it cant be made to fit. I think if you don't mind drilling the back plate for the holes you should be okay. I want to say the breather holes still lined up to the heads but that was a few year ago.

No fit means not a bolt on mod.
Anything can be made to work if you have the determination and ability
