My 07 Road King Classic only goes to a 100 mph is there a governor on there?

 

Is it still accelerating strong up to 100mph?

 

No governor on speed. My guess is your out of horsepower. My 08 RKC with a 96 would fall on it's *** getting near that speed. The wind resistance is terrible. Now that I had it bumped up to a 103 with cams, it gets to a 100 mph easily.

 

Go back up the hill and try again. Push harder this time.

All jokes aside, the way the 07-08 are geared I'm surprised you can reach 100. Seriously.

Sounds about right. When I had my '07 Street Glide, I tried to hit 100 once. I did it, just made it, but I felt like I was on Apollo 13 on re-entry to earth's orbit....
