Hellova place to sign on to just to bash an ex.
I believe your being unreasonable and you should just let the court system work it out. The odometer is incapable of being changed by anyone but a dealer, and It shouldn't have much if any relavence to anyone... except you. If your making him sell it to settle, Harley's retain value better than any other vehicle of any type or make, so a few miles will make sh*t bit of difference

maybe he has fallen into a deep depression and hasn't felt like riding

Welcome from NC.
Many newer speedos can get the mileage from the bike's computer directly, if that's what you're changing.
Older speedos will need to be manually set, in which case, liar-liar-pants-on-fire.

If my ex wife ever posts a message even remotely similar to this one it means it's an estate sale and I won't care. Until then in the words of Charlton Heston she can pry it from my cold dead hands.
