Default Handlebar installation.

Got my wild1 chubby installed and when i put the inner fairing on and line up the bolts i noticed the radio has gap between it a the fairing at the bottom due to the thicker bars.

Anyone else experience this?

I just finished my WO578 install. I had a gap between the switch shroud and inner fairing so I sanded the corners off the lower switch shroud with a die grinder. Fits like normal now.

Make sure you have the inner fairing mounted a little lower in the slots which will raise the inner fairing a quarter inch or so. I have the 1 1/4" chubbys with zero issues.

What slots are you referring too?

The slots that the hex cap screws go through to secure the inner fairing. The "slot" allows you to raise the inner fairing 1/2". This should help your stereo clear the bars.

Mine doesn't have slots, so i took my dremel tool to it with a drum sander fits perfect now.
