Default Exhaust Question

Hey guys, i currently have some RC component Slip ons and a SE heavy breather intake. I want to get a header and custom map. My question is can i buy another aftermarket header and pair it up with the slip ons i currently have? I like the look of the slip ons but want the performance of a full system. Appreciate the feedback

You just need to get headpipes that are 1 3/4" to work. I just ordered a set of Freedom true duals for a customer that is in the same boat as you.

If they fit a stock headpipe they are 1 3/4", any 1 3/4" headpipe will work.

Swapping out the header is not going to make any major difference in the tune. If it was tuned when pipes and AC were done you will likely not need to change anything. Your 08 did not have CATS in the header.

It depends, changing pipes on a bike with a stock a/c then yes, they won't make a big difference in the tune. But if the bike is running a tune with an aftermarket A/C and exhaust then changing the exhaust can most definitely effect the tune. 2 different pipes will not flow the same air in all the ranges.
