Default arc audio question

Hi was wondering on 125.2 mini i see almost everyone connect the power on wire to the spare wire on the headlight harness but wondering why you need it if you use the auto sense switch doesnt the mean when signal from speakers are sent from Head unit the amp turns on?Thx

When you say connect the power wire to the spare at the headlight, you know you still need to run a separate 30 amp supply for the power, right?

Switched power. Keeps the amp from draining your battery when the bike is off. Not sure about autosense but wouldn't take a chance.

Hook it up without it. If your HU sends enough volts it'll turn the amp on. If not use the remote wire and hook it to the spare wire on the headlight plug. It's not hard to figure out which one you need.

Hi level speaker inputs can be used with stock head unit, but low level RCA inputs are generally a better source, especially with aftermarket HU
